This supplement provides INMETRO Hazardous Area Approval information for the 3622 electro‐pneumatic converter

and the 3620J positioner. Use this in conjunction with information provided in the 3610J and 3620J Positioners and

3622 Electro‐Pneumatic Converter Instruction Manual (D200149X012).

INMETRO—National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technolog. INMETRO approval is accepted in Brazil.

Certain nameplates may carry more than one approval, and each approval may have unique installation/wiring

requirements and/or conditions of “safe use”. These special instructions for “safe use” are in addition to, and may

override, the standard installation procedures. Refer to the instruction manual

for all other information regarding

3610J and 3620J positioners and 3622 electro‐pneumatic converters.

This information supplements the nameplate markings affixed to the product.

Always refer to the nameplate itself to identify the appropriate certification.
